Description:

We are seeking a skilled Claims Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating accident matters with hirers, contractors, and insurers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate accident matters with hirers, contractors, and insurers.
  • Work closely with settlement teams to close cases quickly at acceptable prices.
  • Collaborate with GBL appointed accident contractors to turn around accident vehicles.
  • Update monthly claims status provided by insurers.
  • Raise third-party excess invoices for liability down cases.
  • Provide road shows to educate clients' drivers on accident procedures.
  • Handle accident own damage claims with GIA reports.
  • Raise own damage excess billing to clients after vehicle repairs.
  • Notify clients upon receipt of GIA reports.
  • Prepare weekly summaries on accident vehicles in contractors' workshops.
  • Liaise with internal workshops for accident replacements.
  • Monitor vehicle collection after accident repairs.
  • Liaise with contractors for daily quotations.
  • Email quotations to clients within 2 working days after accident assessments.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum NITEC qualification.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office.
  • No prior experience required, but prefer Class 3 holders due to their understanding of safe driving and insurance claims.
  • May need to work overtime on Saturdays and Sundays to conduct driver briefings.
