The company is the leader in paid social advertising for DTC cannabis brands and is seeking an experienced individual to lead their new email department. As the Head of Email Retention, you will be responsible for developing and executing advanced email marketing strategies for DTC CPG brands, with a strong emphasis on wellness. Your role will involve leading the overall email marketing direction, collaborating with clients to tailor solutions that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.You will oversee a team of Email Marketing Strategists, Specialists, and Designers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work within budget constraints. Your strategic planning and execution will aim at driving the department's revenue growth from $30K to $250K in MRR within 9 months. Initially, you will take on an Email Marketing Strategist role before expanding and hiring additional team members.In addition to team development, you will serve as the main point of contact for key client accounts, managing project timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and implementing email marketing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and providing insights to optimize engagement rates and conversions.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in email marketing for DTC CPG brands, preferably in the wellness sector. You should demonstrate proficiency in managing email marketing teams, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on tasks, and utilizing email marketing tools such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, and Mailchimp.
