Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in life and health insurance operations. The role involves analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Must have bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • Must have minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis within the insurance industry;
  • Must have extensive knowledge of insurance, with a strong focus on policy servicing and/or claims operations;
  • Must have strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency in JIRA and Confluence;
  • Must have excellent communication (written and spoken English) and stakeholder management skills;
  • Must have strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Desired Skill-set

  • Experience as a domain SME in delivering key projects using Agile;
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performing team (Business/Tech BAs, Developers, Product Owners);
  • Self-motivated, capable of multitasking and working under pressure;
  • Familiarity with UX/UI collaboration and design feasibility assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and facilitate workshops to define business requirements;
  • Gather and document requirements from business units and write detailed user stories;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value;
  • Partner with UX/UI team to ensure usability and accurate requirement translation;
  • Assess feasibility of design, features, and proposed solutions;
  • Facilitate grooming sessions with development teams;
  • Act as a liaison between business units and delivery teams, ensuring smooth communication;
  • Support the delivery of initiatives across markets within an Agile framework.
