Job Title: Insurance Operations Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in life and health insurance operations to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis within the insurance industry;
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance, with a strong focus on policy servicing and/or claims operations;
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency in JIRA and Confluence;
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills;

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and facilitate workshops to define business requirements;
  • Gather and document requirements from business units and write detailed user stories;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value;
  • Partner with UX/UI team to ensure usability and accurate requirement translation;
  • Assess feasibility of design, features, and proposed solutions;
  • Facilitate grooming sessions with development teams;
  • Act as a liaison between business units and delivery teams, ensuring smooth communication;
  • Support the delivery of initiatives across markets within an Agile framework.
