Business Analyst - Insurance Operations

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in life and health insurance operations.

  • Job Summary:
  • As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis within the insurance industry;
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance, with a strong focus on policy servicing and/or claims operations;
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency in JIRA and Confluence;
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken English) and stakeholder management skills;
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail;

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct analysis and facilitate workshops to define business requirements;
  2. Gather and document requirements from business units and write detailed user stories;
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value;
  4. Partner with UX/UI team to ensure usability and accurate requirement translation;
  5. Assess feasibility of design, features, and proposed solutions;
  6. Facilitate grooming sessions with development teams;
  7. Act as a liaison between business units and delivery teams, ensuring smooth communication;
  8. Support the delivery of initiatives across markets within an Agile framework.
