Mission of the Role

As the Director of Marketing, the mission is to achieve business goals while nurturing team development, focusing on digital and media expertise. Leading brand strategy, activation plans, and budgeting, the role sets long-term goals aligned with revenue generation strategies for new market penetration and sales alignment. Conducting market research and competitive analysis informs strategic decisions, while tracking performance metrics ensures effective campaigns contributing to revenue growth. Designing customer acquisition and retention strategies and overseeing digital marketing efforts drive revenue. Accurate revenue forecasting and budget management align marketing activities with financial goals, while staying innovative and adaptable to industry trends ensures continued success. Effective channel optimization and team collaboration maximize business impact and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

Achieve Business Goals and Team Development

: Focus on meeting business targets while supporting team morale, professional growth, and skill enhancement in digital and media areas.

Brand Strategy and Planning

: Lead the creation of brand strategies, activation plans, and budgeting. Set long-term goals and plans to achieve them.

Revenue Generation Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive revenue generation strategies that align with business goals, including new market penetration and expansion.

Sales and Marketing Alignment

: Work closely with the all departments to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with sales objectives, facilitating smooth lead handoff and conversion processes.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and inform strategic decisions.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies, ensuring they contribute to revenue growth.

Customer Acquisition and Retention

: Design and execute strategies for customer acquisition and retention, focusing on increasing the customer lifetime value and driving revenue growth.

Digital Marketing

: Oversee digital marketing strategies to drive revenue, leveraging SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media and other related platforms.

Revenue Forecasting and Budgeting

: Provide accurate revenue forecasting and budgeting, ensuring that marketing activities are aligned with financial goals and constraints.

Innovation and Adaptation

: Stay updated with industry trends and innovations, continuously adapting marketing strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer needs.

Budget Management

: Manage the marketing budget for the brand cluster, ensuring support for key launches and initiatives while maximizing ROI.

Channel Optimization

: Utilize all channels effectively and adjust priorities as needed to drive business and achieve an optimal mix.

Team Collaboration and Efficiency

: Promote teamwork and operational efficiency to achieve cohesive and effective results.

Hiring Criteria

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or director-level position.

Strategic and Analytical Skills:

Demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities, able to translate complex insights into practical and effective marketing strategies.

Leadership and Team Management:

Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to empower, motivate, and develop team members to achieve objectives and drive outcomes.

Budget Management:

Extensive experience managing substantial marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI and support key initiatives.

Collaboration and Partnership:

Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Consumer Experience and Creative teams, to orchestrate impactful brand experiences and produce effective content across diverse channels.

Dynamic Work Environment:

Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

Organizational Skills:

Possesses exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail, adept at handling multiple projects concurrently and meeting strict deadlines.

Ability to leverage consumer insights to inform and shape robust marketing strategies that respond to evolving customer preferences and expectations.
