Business Development Manager (Creative Media)

Our client is looking for a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills and a background in agency or advertising. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, with a proven track record in people management—particularly for those applying at the manager level. While project management experience is an advantage, the role is especially suited for someone who excels at building and nurturing relationships. If you are proactive, collaborative, and passionate about developing creative partnerships, our client would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in animation, motion graphics, visual effects, and interactive content.
  • Prospect potential clients through market research, referrals, cold calling, business directories, and field outreach.
  • Develop and deliver engaging sales presentations that highlight the company’s strengths and offer tailored solutions to client needs.
  • Partner with creative and production teams to craft proposals and ensure client requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and objectives, translating them into clear, actionable briefs for producers.
  • Prepare quotations, manage contracts, oversee invoicing, and maintain accurate client records.
  • Build and nurture both short- and long-term client relationships, manage existing accounts, and promote additional services aligned with client needs.
Requirements
  • Strong command of English with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the creative industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in client acquisition, sales strategy, or account management.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools is advantageous.
