Overview

Business Development Manager/Director (OEM) at TechwareLab. This role focuses on global growth strategies, contract manufacturing, and building key customer relationships and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, refinement, and execution of global growth strategies for contract manufacturing services; analyze market trends, client needs, and competitors to inform unique selling propositions and action plans to accelerate growth.
  • Develop and nurture key customer relationships globally; act as the primary contact for key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and negotiating strategic contracts.
  • Drive new business initiatives across new and existing markets; reach out to prospects, build relationships, and close deals to foster growth.
  • Identify and forge strategic partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and other opportunities to enhance the company’s global growth trajectory.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and engineering from concept through product lifecycle to ensure decisions align with strategic priorities.
  • Represent the company professionally, mentor future leaders, and model ethical business conduct.
Qualifications
  • At least 15 years of experience in senior management roles, preferably with global responsibilities in contract manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills; strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to convert customer needs into successful deals.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to manage complex situations; experience in contract negotiations with key clients and forming strategic partnerships.
  • Global business acumen with understanding of market dynamics; engaging and persuasive communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred); willingness to travel globally.
  • Open to Manager/Senior Manager/Director/VP level candidates.
Location & Compensation

Job Location: Singapore HQ or Malaysia. Salary Package: SGD 10,000 – SGD 18,000. Attractive commission, commensurate with experience. Job types: Permanent, Full-Time, Onsite, Hybrid, 5 days.
