  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Centre Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our childcare centre. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.As the Deputy Centre Director, you will provide strong leadership to a team of teachers and support staff. Your responsibilities will include fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, setting clear performance expectations for staff, and supporting their professional development.In terms of curriculum and educational programs, you will oversee the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum. You will ensure that all educational programs align with relevant early childhood education standards, monitor their effectiveness, and make improvements as necessary.Operations management is a key aspect of this role, involving the day-to-day management of scheduling, enrollment, and parent communication. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized preschool environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Financial management tasks will include developing and managing the centre's budget, monitoring expenses, revenue, and financial performance, and seeking opportunities to increase enrollment and revenue.Building positive relationships with parents and families, as well as fostering community partnerships and outreach efforts, will be essential for parent and community engagement. Additionally, you will be involved in staff development by recruiting, hiring, and training teaching and support staff, conducting performance evaluations, and developing professional growth plans.Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to enrollment, attendance, and curriculum, as well as preparing reports for the board and stakeholders, will also be part of your responsibilities.Required Candidate Profile:- 2+ years of experience working with children in a classroom setting.- Basic computer skills, including Internet, email, word processing, and spreadsheets.- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.- Service orientation, initiative, stress tolerance, and a willingness to work Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.Education: Bachelor's degree preferredExperience: 2-5 yearsIf you are comfortable with the job timings and location, possess the required qualifications and experience, and are ready to take on this challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply for this full-time, permanent position at our childcare centre in Vijayawada.,
