Job Description & Requirements

Our company is acting on behalf of our client who is in the tailor business. They need an experienced manager with the following responsibilities and requirements:

  • Must have work experience in the tailor and clothing business and be able to perform tailor works.
  • Efficiently manage daily operations and optimize tailor processes.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets for both online and offline channels.
  • Oversee customer relations and ensure a 360-degree customer experience.
  • Manage inventory and merchandise displays.
  • Take bespoke tailoring orders from customers.
  • Accurately measure and fit customers.
  • Design garments according to customer preferences and requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the production team to procure necessary products. Conduct final fittings to deliver top-quality bespoke garments.
  • Manage monthly marketing promotions and customer communications.
  • Apply strategic planning skills to achieve business goals.
  • Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be self-directed and proactive.
  • Be service-oriented with sophistication, poise, and confidence to support the team.
  • Have excellent sales and marketing skills to build customer relationships, understand customer needs, and present product ideas effectively.
  • Possess specialized skills as a Master Tailor with precision in bespoke tailoring and an eye for design and trends.
  • Be resourceful and well-networked, capable of sourcing quality materials.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Have five or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and fashion designing.

Job Highlights:

  • 4 off days monthly; rest days depend on schedule. Must be able to work long hours, including late evenings and weekends.
  • Competitive salary of $9,000 and above.
  • Positive and nurturing working environment.
  • Work location: Town area.
  • Duration: Permanent.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Work experience: At least 4 years in related tailoring fields.
  • Job type: Full-time.
  • Languages: English; ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.
