Cana Consulting is working with a reputable financial service provider, and we are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Corporate Secretary .
Key Responsibilities- Handling Company Filings: Prepare and submit essential documents to regulatory bodies and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supporting Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings for various committees and management, which involves preparing agendas, distributing materials, managing logistics, and drafting meeting summaries.
- Ensuring Compliance: Help the team follow all relevant company laws, regulations, and best practices in corporate governance.
- Assisting with Special Projects: Support the team on other administrative, compliance, and project-based tasks as they arise.
- Education and Experience: A degree in a relevant field and at least 6 years of experience in corporate administration, ideally within a company that deals with significant regulatory oversight or is publicly traded.
- Governance Knowledge: A strong understanding of company regulations and how to ensure good governance.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain meticulous records.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to interact clearly with various individuals and teams.
- Work Ethic: A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in standard office software and virtual meeting platforms. Experience with specialized board management software is a plus.
- Discretion: The ability to manage confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
