Assistant Manager, Technology Business Partner (APAC)

This role serves as a strategic interface to SATS technology functional teams and JVs/Associates to foster collaboration and deliver IT services that support business goals across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders with understanding of regional challenges and provide guidance on IT initiatives and investments in compliance with company policy
  • Engage effectively with business units to understand processes, needs and priorities
  • Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting business requirements
  • Collaborate with Technology Business Partners, cross-functional teams (architecture, infrastructure, data) and regional IT leads to address project requirements and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards
  • Support procurement for services or technology solutions, including vendor sourcing, tender preparation (RFQ/RFP), evaluation and vendor selection
  • Create and analyze information to develop recommendations that support decisions and trade-off analyses between different solution platforms
  • Monitor and track key performance metrics, deliverables and milestones of IT services and projects
  • Develop programs to foster partnership through technology sharing and strengthen cooperation within the IT community in the APAC region
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of business and/or systems analysis and IT project management experience
  • Demonstrated at least 3 years of project management experience coordinating multiple stakeholders (business process owners, external vendors, support teams); or prior experience leading teams, projects or programs
  • Professional certification (e.g., Project Management, Business Analysis or related)
  • Strong technical background with broad knowledge of technology solutions and ability to coordinate across internal and external resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to organize, manage, and direct cross-functional teams to address technical and business issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to coordinate/lead multiple projects with competing priorities
