We are working with an innovative maritime SaaS company, that has a strong foundation, and who are looking to take their business to the next level. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Head of Business Development to help scale their commercial presence and build out strategic partnerships.

The Role

Reporting to the leadership team, this position combines hands-on business development with elements of corporate strategy.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving client acquisition and revenue growth by promoting the platform and the company’s vision.
  • Building and managing relationships with shipping companies, managers, and maritime stakeholders.
  • Identifying and developing partnerships with other technology providers and service companies to expand the offering.
  • Collaborating with the C-suite on business strategy, growth initiatives, and potential M&A activity.
  • Acting as a key market voice, sharing insights and feedback to help shape future product development.
The Candidate

Thesuccessful candidate will bring:

  • A strong track record in business development, commercial, or sales roles within the maritime technology or SaaS space.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day sales.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Exposure to M&A or corporate development is advantageous but not essential.
