2 Community Partnership Officer - SPF/ CPD. The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. The Community Partnership Department (CPD) leads SPF's community engagement efforts across stakeholders from different population segments. As a Community Partnership Officer (Youth Engagement), you will develop, manage or review CPD's youth engagement strategies, policies, plans and projects to ensure their effectiveness and relevance. You will draft and implement relevant policies, standard operating procedures and systems, initiate and manage projects/programmes, and engage key strategic stakeholders/partners within the youth domain. You will also oversee frontline police units' youth engagement activities by tracking performance indicators and providing guidance to ensure desired outcomes. SPF aims to develop an empowered youth population contributing to community safety and security. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.
What You Will Be Working On- Build SPF's youth engagement capabilities and drive outreach to the youth population by formulating and executing action plans to engage relevant stakeholders.
- Periodically review CPD's youth engagement strategies, policies and plans to align with changing operating environments and circumstances.
- Manage flagship youth engagement programmes to ensure alignment with the SPF Youth Engagement Framework; plan and organise large-scale events and procure related collaterals.
- Develop networks and collaborate with other Ministries/Agencies to engage the youth population.
- Establish networks with key private sector organisations to reach out to members or tap programmes that advance SPF's youth priorities.
- Monitor youth engagement efforts through KPI tracking and provide guidance to frontline units on related issues.
- Take up secondary appointments and other ad-hoc tasks as directed by management.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience is preferred; fresh graduates may be considered if they possess the right attributes.
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement in similar capacities is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.
- Ability to establish strong relationships within SPF as well as other agencies and key industry players.
- Good negotiation, written communication and verbal presentation skills.
- Meticulous planning skills with the ability to analyse issues and present balanced, strong arguments.
