To continue this success story and to grow and develop the business, we are looking for a commercially astute and results-driven professional to join Air New Zealand's South and South East Asia team as Sales Manager based in Singapore.

This role is of critical importance for Air New Zealand to ensure we meet our ambitious targets across the SSEA region. The role will own and lead key strategic sales initiatives across the region, and within the portfolio will manage indirect sales performance across a number of allocated markets within SSEA.

We're looking for a strategic sales leader with a deep understanding of the travel and aviation landscape across South and South East Asia, who can provide thought leadership and partnership management for Air New Zealand's sales function. Leading two reports (one direct, one indirect) the successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who enjoys coaching and developing others, and enjoys working within a small, yet high performing team.

Key deliverables of the role

Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise Air New Zealand's revenues, yield and market share within a dedicated portfolio, achieving stated revenue targets within budget parameters. Lead and influence sales planning with Singapore Airlines to maximise revenue and brand outcomes for the Alliance, building strong and positive relationships with all key stakeholders. Lead SSEA's strategic sales input into key initiatives and innovations Together with the wider Sales team, develop and implement indirect joint venture marketing activities which grow incremental sales and achieve revenue targets. Partner with internal Commercial stakeholders to develop relevant and effective remuneration and incentive schemes using volume, revenue or market share targets. Negotiate commercial agreements with Trade Partners that optimise performance and result in improved revenue outcomes, whilst maintaining control on costs. Together with Account Managers, develop a prioritised Account Management plan for indirect channels across all priority markets, leveraging and utilising the tools and resources provided by the Global Sales function, ensuring global consistency of account management processes. Forge close relationships with key decision makers within all Air New Zealand key accounts and leverage personal influence. Undertake weekly performance analysis and reporting on key accounts, utilise insights and respond. Provide monthly reports to key accounts on performance and conduct quarterly reviews.

This role involves occasional travel to various locations to meet with key partners and to develop new business relationships.
