Summary

Responsible for developing, refining, implementing and sustaining key commercial processes.  Drives adoption of Hyperion Sales processes throughout Asia. Coordinates and leads regular meetings of the sales team in addition to coaching and sustenance of the toolkits. Tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Targets To Improve (TTI) metrics.  Partners with the regional leaders to drive Policy Deployment in the region, build the playbooks and implement them across the region to help achieve outsized growth. Additionally, this critical member of the team will collaborate with Country Managers, and Finance FP&A to provide input relative to various initiatives including pricing, product rationalization, product profitability, and branding (would remove branding).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drives adoption of Hyperion Sales Process by ensuring regular review of material.  Leads and mentors the sales team on how to use the appropriate tools, techniques, and templates to win opportunities.
  • Optimizes sales processes, streamlines workflows, and drives continuous improvement in sales operations efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, and IT, to align sales operations with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Analyzes sales data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.  Provides actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance.
  • Manages sales opportunity funnel review calls, ensuring accountability for following established standard work.
  • Supports the weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting cadence by maintaining templates, overseeing the input process, providing analysis, and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Develops Key Account dashboards and creates a process that tracks the progress of increased penetrations in Key Accounts.
  • Propagates the use of Action Plans by the sales team with clearly defined actions, owners, and due dates.
  • Continuously improves the usage of the CRM by the sales.
  • Curates commercial best practices and drives their implementation across the sales team
  • Collaborates with Marketing to improve lead qualification and management process.
  • Supports voice of the customer execution and analysis to identify customer satisfaction, needs and customer dissatisfiers.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue vs. plan, contact rate, quote closure rate and gross profit percentage.

Education and/or Work Experience

The ideal candidate shall meet or exceed the following:  

  • BS or MS in Engineering / Business, MBA strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years commercial experience in industrial sales (preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in creating, coaching and sustaining commercial processes and playbooks in high performing environments
  • Proven track record of setting aggressive targets and meeting business goals through team interaction and involvement.
  • Fundamental understanding of Lean and Six Sigma tools and processes
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, efficiency improvement, and project management.
  • Expertise in planning and executing projects that involve a large number of stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of applied finance.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
