HPB's health promotion effort never stops growing. The Corporate and Industry Partnerships (CIP) Division has the unique opportunity to create and build long-lasting relationships with our partners, and to cultivate these partnerships to develop mutually beneficial collaborations that will support HPB’s programmes, strategies and initiatives.

You will be a part of HPB’s Corporate & Industry Partnerships Division that has the unique opportunity to develop strategic partnerships with key players in the relevant industry-segment (both commercial & WOG partners) to drive key programmes, projects and initiatives. This entails working closely with both internal stakeholders as well. It will sharpen your competency in developing and executing meaningful partnership propositions, integrating partnerships into HPB’s holistic programmes, marketing and communications effort.

This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop strategic partnerships with key players in the relevant industry-segment (both commercial & WOG partners) to drive key programmes, projects and initiatives. This entails working closely with both internal stakeholders as well. It will sharpen your competency in developing and executing meaningful partnership propositions, integrating partnerships into HPB’s holistic programmes, marketing and communications effort.

Responsibilities

To be effective, you have to be a dynamic team player. You must possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see win-win opportunities with partners. You must also possess strong project execution skills, be able to effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects (without direct control of people or resources).

You will:

Oversee projects relating to food and beverages measures/policies to formulate industry position on regulations issues. Strategise, plan and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and jointly deliver on Eat, Drink, Shop Healthy Challenge (EDSH) campaign objectives and goals via clear partner engagement strategy, execution and measurement. Develop strategic partnership initiatives, identify new partners and partnership opportunities, and develop associate policies and processes to support these initiatives. Market these partnership initiatives; bridging partner and HPB’s interest to reach mutually beneficial partnerships agreement. Execute and implement the partnership programme through working with internal stakeholders and external partners; conduct end-of-programme review with customers, and thereafter providing feedback to internal stakeholders. Constantly improve the processes of partnership acquisition, selling, development, implementation and retention, and uphold professionalism and partnership satisfaction. Develop close working relationship with internal stakeholders to engage, identify and support partnership opportunities. Actively participate in execution of key initiatives and projects, proactive in one’s responsibilities, so as to launch initiatives successfully and on time. Actively maintain and enhance relationships with partners.

Requirements

You should:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related discipline. Have at least 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in partner management, business development, sales or marketing-related with proven track record of building strong customer and stakeholder relationships at various levels. Have proven track record in successfully developing, implementing and executing partnership programmes or initiatives, with a good understanding of the underlying economics of managing such programmes. Demonstrated competency in partnership proposal development (includes ideation), operations planning, execution and management of project launches. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team across a matrix structure; has good teamwork qualities to engage, motivate and work with team members and stakeholders. Possess a strategic mind-set, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organisation and navigate complex stakeholder relationships. Possess strong verbal, written and presentation skills coupled with strong negotiation and influencing skills; Bilingual capability will be a strong advantage.
