Role Details
  • Actively grow the profitability across the Accolade Wines portfolio including achievement of targeted volume, net sales and gross profit of key customers, direct customers, distributors in SG & MY through shared plans, that recognises the importance of maintaining ongoing business relationships and encourages long term business growth and sustainable business relationships.
  • Work with all key customers, direct customers, distributors in SG & MY to implement market strategies & business plans to deliver regional goals.
  • Negotiate and drive business agreements/trading terms with key accounts aimed at achieving yearly budget and build brand equity. Ensure all proposals/business agreements/trading terms are signed off internally before presenting to the customer. Within corporate guidelines, tailor dedicated discount and trade selling support for customers in line with growth opportunities and overall team objectives.
  • Be ownership of shipment forecast planning.
  • Conduct monthly reviews to track agreed performance objectives with distributors and for key customers; identifying where corrective action should take place.
  • Monitor and manage trading term compliance.
  • Understand the customers overall strategy in the market and for the beverage category, and proactively sharing this knowledge and information.
  • Create and execute comprehensive customer JUBP plans with targeted / potential key accounts.
  • Manage and drive customers and distributors partnerships to deliver Win, Win, Win outcomes.
  • Work with distributors to execute local marketing activities in line with agreed marketing plan.
  • Develop, manage and leverage relevant trading initiatives and expenses so as to maximize sales and marketing opportunities within a fixed expense budget.
  • Emphasis is placed on high levels of customer service, industry & product knowledge & sales negotiation.
  • The changing dynamics of the market requires that this position be well informed on key issues and developments across both this customer base and the industry.
  • Other responsibilities as directed.
Your Key Accountabilities
  • Achieve monthly & yearly shipment budget-Volume, net sales & profitability.
  • Focus & implement market strategies & business plans to deliver regional goals.
  • Able to negotiate and drive the best business agreement/trading term.
  • Full penetration of distribution in ALL channels in Singapore & Malaysia.
  • Create and execute comprehensive customer JUBP plans with targeted / potential key accounts and distributors.
  • Ensure customers & distributors monthly depletion and inventory holding are in a healthy position.
  • Ensure accuracy on shipment forecast.

Essential Qualifications
  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within Commercial.
  • Ideally accredited Beverage qualification.
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Consistent customer and distributor visits.
  • Tightly monitoring of depletion and inventory with direct customers / distributors.
  • Market check by channel.
  • Constant travels required between East Malaysia and Singapore.
