Performance Marketing Manager, Asia

The Opportunity
:Reporting to the E-commerce Director Asia, this is a newly created role to reflect our rapid digital growth and development across Asia. This role will craft holistic online platform marketing strategies to drive commercial growth and user acquisition. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving e-commerce growth and innovation across the region. You will work with in-market and Asia e-commerce managers, as well as marketing counterparts, to optimize paid investments on third party marketplaces and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and own implementation of Asia platform performance marketing strategy, primary focus on Marketplaces (Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, Coupang, Naver) Search and Display, including budgeting.
• Set the direction to deliver against our brand penetration growth and sales ambitions by working with local agencies and internal performance marketing colleagues.
• Responsible for regular performance reports on Asia level which lead to actionable insight to drive efficiency.
• Review the management of media agencies to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met, maximise the value gains from these partnerships.
• Work with the wider marketing team to drive full funnel media approach and optimize creatives from data & insights.
• Partner Regional and local e-commerce managers to lead relations (JBPs) with marketplace partners.
• Stay abreast of industry trends of performance marketing and retail media.
• Internal advocate for performance marketing optimisation & opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in digital commerce – Display, Search and/or other marketing fields, with hands on experience delivering e-commerce sales targets and paid media KPIs.
• Track record from consumer brand or digital agency preferred.
• Proven track record driving improvement in qualitative and quantitative business metrics.
• Familiar with Google Analytics and/or website performance suites and data platforms.
• Strong Data Interpretation and Analytical Skills.
• Previous experience working with external digital agencies.
• Ability to work cross functionally to drive high impact results.
