Purpose of the Role

GfK’s suite of Market Intelligence (MI) solutions are providing manufacturers, distributors, and retailers with the ability to measure performance, identify opportunities and implement smarter and faster decisions across the areas of product, price, place, and promotion. The APAC Sales team is responsible for defining the go to market aspects of these solutions and supporting our teams across 60 countries worldwide to maximize our reach and value to our clients.

The APAC gfknewron Sales Expert role is responsible for our suite of gfknewron solutions. Together with the APAC T&D Commercial MD, this role is responsible for defining the strategy and ensuring we execute against it to achieve the business targets. This includes ownership – in collaboration with our client Account Managers – of high priority pitches and opportunities up to successful conversion. The role also includes sales enablement, ensuring the Account Managers responsible for selling are supported with relevant tools, sales templates and processes to sell through value-based selling approach. This role also extends to working together with solution partners to ensure solution development is meeting with client needs.

Job Responsibilities

Define and drive APAC Strategy for GfK’s suite of gfknewron solutions Have strong commercial ownership and accountability for the regional gfknewron fiscal targets Act as the main point of contact within GfK for gfknewron suite, troubleshoot and support the sales organization on an ongoing basis Define and align region/country targets for gfknewron suite Have ownership of agreed high priority client opportunities to support with our gfknewron suite. Work in collaboration with GfK Strategic Account Managers and our solution partner to ensure effective and expanding support to our clients from our gfknewron suite. Flag and address potential barriers to support. Utilize and develop APAC network within high priority clients to maximize our support Together with APAC Learning ensure relevant and impactful internal training program in place to empower the community of Account Managers on gfknewron Own the gfknewron sale enablement tools, assets, and processes. Ensuring they remain relevant and provide best-in-class approach to support account managers with sales enablement and excellence Own Go-to-Market Campaign/s for gfknewron solutions including planning and development of enablers. Working together with APAC Marketing to support in asset development and deployment Report into and support APAC T&D Commercial MD with the progression of gfknewron Work together with our key solution partner/s and with our Product organisation ensure the solution development is aligned with client needs to maximise the support we are providing Continuously invest in your own skills development through undertaking GfK APAC Learning programs. Utilize and reflect learnings in scaled tools, templates and go-to-markets approaches

Job Requirements

Client focused. Proficient in identifying, exploring, communicating client needs, and converting them into appropriate research solutions that enable client growth.  Experienced in the Research Industry with proven record on client account management Effectively driven the rollout and evolution of new insight solutions to provide long-term and sustainable business growth Established and owned relationships with external partners Strong communication skills. Knows how to work with a diverse community to set and meet common goals Deep understanding of selling to consumers through online channels Ability to use data to diagnose problems, identify and implement scalable corrective actions Works with integrity and has eye for detail with high-quality standards Enthusiasm to learn and utilize learnings Able to build meaningful client relationships, and work standalone
