Responsibilities

 

  • Successful candidate will be responsible for growing the HFM brand through New Business Development and Account Management across events and marketing solutions products sold to Service Providers in the Asia Pacific market. 
  • Enable new business growth - creating a pursuit list of our desired clients and a plan on how we will secure them
  • Nurture our existing client accounts developing relationships with multiple points of contact to grow revenue, increasing both average spend and frequency of spend across portfolio.
  • Travel to event locations (Hong Kong, Macau, etc) to manage the key stakeholders (sponsors), program agenda and overall sponsor expectations.
  • Develop your understanding of our products, our competitors, and our clients to enable maximised sales and revenue generation.
  • Gain client insight and feed into our product development strategy to create innovative new propositions and fresh commercial opportunities.
  • Conduct lead research to build and expand our network of potential clients that service hedge fund managers in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Take complete ownership of your quarterly revenue targets and strive to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Work directly with the Head of APAC to understand business segment needs required for sustainable growth, contribute new ideas and ways in which we can work with our clients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales is essential, ideally from the financial services market or event sales is an advantage.
  • We are looking for someone with strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • We want a candidate who is client-focused, proactive, and has an entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.
  • We need someone who is passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic about identifying and securing new business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally is important in this role.
  • We are seeking a strategic thinker who is self-motivated and collaborative.
  • A high sense of urgency is essential for success in this position.
