We are looking for a Sales Manager (Hardware) based in our FDH Shanghai, China location. The ideal candidate will lead regional sales activities and market/business development for the FDH business entities in coordination with the efforts of the Business Development Group/Inside Sales, LTA Sales group and those of the Business units. Also, the role will be reviewing the LTA pricing strategy together with the corporate LTA pricing team to implement bidding tactics to improve the win rate of LTA bidding. 

Responsibilities

Understand and incorporate the FDH vision, goals and objectives. Evaluate and develop qualified sales leads. Develop and maintain existing and new customer relationships. Works interdepartmentally with FDH and other Business Units to keep account activities and literature up to date. Assists in developing the Supplier base and evaluating potential Supplier capabilities. Review LTA pricing and set up bidding strategy and tactics. Follows FDH Sales Process to manage revenue generation opportunities Ownership of the full sales process from initiation of sales process, to contract signature. Engages in the training and development of employees regarding the sales process and our Business unit capabilities. Support Sales Team projects in order to meet Team goals and objectives Assists inside sales as required with converting ad-hoc opportunities Attends Trades Shows, and Customer/Supplier Seminars.

Qualifications

Prior sales experience with a solid Aerospace industry background is . Business acumen, along with Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills are essential. Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent, within Engineering/Business studies. A strong team player with a history of personal self-development. Able to work under pressure. Experience of working and succeeding in a rapidly changing business. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Organized and has efficient time management skills. Ability to work interdepartmentally and develop strong relationships. Travel is an expected part of the role
