Role and Responsibilities
Third Party Risk Management Office Lead
1. Own the TPRM risk-domain for IHiS
2. Lead the design, integration, deployment and maintenance of a firm-wide TPRM framework & operating model (governance structure, methodology, policies, processes and tools). This includes risk identification, control assessment, risk mitigation and monitoring as well as the development, implementation and maintenance of the necessary TPRM infrastructure
3. Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness by optimising vendor risk management process and effectively managing risks in partnership with IHiS business and infrastructure units including risk associated with on boarding and ongoing monitoring of third parties from a risk-domain perspective.
4. Provide guidance to business and infrastructure units to develop and execute a risk-based mitigation strategy for their respective third party risks.
5. Promote awareness on third party risk management and improve capabilities
6. Drive special and ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Tertiary qualifications
2. Minimum 8 years in third party risk management or operational risk management experience
3. Strong people management, internal consulting and partnering skills
4. Able to conceptualise and operationalise policies into practices
