Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join our Equity Capital Markets team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the origination and execution of equity transactions across the Southeast Asia region, playing a pivotal role in driving our capital markets business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to origination and execution of equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and equity-linked instruments in the Southeast Asia region. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and key stakeholders in the market. Provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients on capital raising strategies, timing, and market conditions. Conduct comprehensive market research, industry analysis, and due diligence to assess market opportunities and risks. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including investment banking, legal, compliance, and research, to ensure seamless execution of transactions. Prepare detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and presentation materials for client pitches and transaction processes. Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Stay in the know of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform decision-making and strategy.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus. At least years of experience in Asia equity capital markets within investment banking, Southeast Asia ECM viewed favorably. Proven track record of successfully executing equity offerings and managing client relationships. Strong understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and valuation techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable with extensive travel. Drive to be a building block of a high-level equity capital markets team.
