**Job Description - Head Vertical Sales Management Chemical & Pharma ASEAN** Areas of Responsibility: As Head Vertical Sales Management Chemical & Pharma ASEAN, you will be responsible for the vertical business of Siemens Digital Industries with partners and customers in the aforementioned industries in the ASEAN region. - Grow automation and digitalization business with partners and customers in the assigned industry verticals - 3 key areas: Regional Development, focus on Project Business Development and Account Development - Drives Sales & Business Development activities, with a focus on solutions business as an enabler - Identify and develop customer opportunities and convert them into successful solutions at target customers across ASEAN - Responsible to increase share of wallet for selected relevant key customers (including relevant sales channels / integrators) based on products, systems, solutions, and services- Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive advantages and use this knowledge to grow Siemens Digital Industries portfolio market share. - Able to work in matrix organization, coordinating with various other groups including engineering, sales, and marketing, with close coordination and communication with the global vertical management organizations - Guide and lead the intercultural and distributed team in ASEAN to ensure business achievement of top-line and bottom-line KPIs - Define, execute, and closely align with regional top management and global vertical management the go-to-market activities in the assigned ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) - Work in close collaboration with Corporate and Global Account Managers, as well as HQ Vertical Management - Gain market transparency and monitor / detect new trends within the ASEAN target industries - Drive targeted digitalization initiatives according to specific customer requirements - Develop and execute account business plans for all top customers - Ensure accurate reporting in the relevant CRM tools - Bridge local sales resources and headquarter experts - Organize internal and external conferences (onsite and virtual) - Deploy push & pull strategy to increase the share of wallet in the relevant sales channels Qualifications: - Experience in the process industry automation market in an Engineering, Business Development or Sales position with strong business mindset and technical expertise - Track record in Chemical and / or Pharma industry - A master’s degree in Biotech, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering from reputable University - Entrepreneurship, consultative selling approach knowing the industry and the client’s key issues and business drivers - You have more than 5 years’ experience in leading an intercultural team - Product knowledge about process automation, manufacturing execution systems, industrial networks, software solutions are a part of your profile to convince us - Knowledge about emerging Digital Application trends including Cloud Technologies, Software as a Service Concepts, Digital Process Twins, Apps for Manufacturing, Simulation and networking/ Cyber/OT concepts. - Proven experience in developing new/emerging markets. - Experience with Automation Systems - Distributed Control Systems, PLCs, networking equipment and related process instrumentation. - Experience working with End Users, OEMs, integrators and EPCs - Key account management skills & strategic mindset with effective customer orientation and readiness to intensive working and multi-tasking are familiar to you - You are willing to travel regularly (
