**OK Can Pte Ltd** is a retail company that sells toys, gifts and collectibles such as Miffy dolls.
We are currently looking for a **Part Time Admin & Purchasing Assistant** who is highly driven and ready to join a fast-paced start-up environment to support our business structure as we grow You’ll be assisting with the B2B Sales Team of procurement & purchasing cycle and handling day-to-day transactions.
This role is a remote role, thus you will only be required to come to our Tanjong Pagar office during training & etc. If you are highly motivated and love interacting with people, we’d like to meet you
**Job responsibilities**:
- Assist with the Sales and Procurement team to plan and coordinate relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and vendors.
- Manage purchasing cycle including issuance of PO, requesting for quotation, goods receipt, supplier billing and negotiation with supplier for favourable pricing
- Assist in co-ordination with the team on product information, price availability, and delivery schedule.
- Manage detailed forecasts by SKU based on category level consensus forecast and replenishment plans to maximize sales and optimize inventory with excellent fulfilment to customers.
- Ensure correct documentation, specifications and contract
- Issuing of invoices and POs to clients and assist with the adhoc changes
- Other adhoc duties
**Requirements**:
- Possess at least 1 year of related experience preferably in procurement, purchasing or has experience liaising with suppliers in China.
- Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English
- Well organised with strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A fast learner who is able to work independently in a rapidly changing environment
- Able to commit min 20 hours per week & commit for a long term
- Able to start work immediately or with short notice
