Full Stack Engineer

**Why are we recruiting?**
PayPoint provides multi-channel digital payments solutions for a wide range of clients in the energy, water, local authority housing and charity sectors. These allow those clients to manage payments from their customers in an efficient and seamless way. We are constantly adding new functions and expanding the client sectors. We are now looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the MultiPay IT team responsible for these fantastic solutions.
**Overview of the role**

We are constantly adding new functions and expanding the client sectors.
You will undertake a variety of tasks (analysis, estimating, design, coding, testing, prototyping) to support the team in the delivery of their ongoing sprint goals.

**What will you be doing**
- Work in a fast-paced product driven agile delivery team to help drive the delivery and technical competency of the team and the product forwards
- Have a keen eye for detail with regards to working on design and UX within the team
- Actively participate in driving continuous improvement within the team
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver to deadlines in an environment where multiple competing requirements are a part of the job
- A commitment to deliver high quality well tested software as part of an agile team
- The ability to work in and support an agile team working ethos
- The ability to articulate to the business the impact of a design or UX decision
- The ability to work across the entire software stack from the server‐side and batch processing components to the front‐end web development & design

**What we would like from you**
- .NET Core and.NET 6
- HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (AngularJS, KnockoutJS)
- Front End Frameworks (Blazor)
- Cross-Browser coding
- Unit Test Framework (NUnit, XUnit) and Mocking frameworks (e.g. Moq)
- ORM Technology (NHibernate or Entity Framework)
- JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, React)
- Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environment experience, TDD/Unit Testing, Continuous Integration
- Experience of Extreme Programming (XP) principles (SOLID, pair programming, clean code, test-driven development (TDD))
- Test activities to include automation & system testing

**It would be great if you have**
- UX/UI design
- Source control, build and deployment tools such (e.g. GIT, Azure DevOps)
- Azure DevOps, Docker
- Dependency injection (e.g. Ninject / Unity)
- Experience in a DevOps environment
