**Role Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced **Course Developer & Trainer** to take the lead in **designing and delivering** the AI/ML Essentials course. You will play a dual role — developing a structured, beginner-friendly curriculum and delivering the training to adult learners in either classroom or virtual environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**As Course Developer**:

- Design and develop course curriculum, training materials, assessments, and slide decks in alignment with WSQ/SSG standards
- Create interactive and hands-on activities that simplify complex AI/ML concepts
- Ensure learning outcomes are measurable, industry-relevant, and tailored for adult learners
- Work with Equinet’s curriculum team to refine and finalise course documentation for SSG accreditation

**As Trainer**:

- Deliver the course in-person or virtually, using clear and engaging instructional techniques
- Demonstrate real-world AI/ML tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Python notebooks, etc.
- Guide learners through hands-on exercises, project work, and formative assessments
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to support learner progression
- Administer WSQ-aligned assessments and prepare learners for competency-based outcomes

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree** in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
- at least **5 years of hands-on experience** in AI/ML development, implementation, or data science
- Strong command of AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, OpenAI APIs, Google Colab)
- **Demonstrated experience in instructional design or curriculum development**:

- **Excellent communication and facilitation skills**, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical learners

**Preferred Trainer Certifications**:

- **WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)** - required for delivery of SSG-accredited courses
- AI-related certifications such as:

- **IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate**:

- **Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals**:

- **Google Cloud Machine Learning Engineer Certification**:

- Train-the-Trainer, CELTA, or other adult education credentials are advantageous

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience working with AI in business, marketing, automation, or data analytics
- Familiarity with emerging tools like AutoML, prompt engineering, or no-code AI platforms
- Prior experience teaching or facilitating WSQ-accredited courses
- Portfolio of instructional materials or a GitHub profile showcasing AI/ML projects
