**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**As Course Developer**:

- Design and structure a curriculum aligned with SSG/WSQ standards (where applicable), focusing on basic cybersecurity awareness and hygiene
- Develop engaging course materials such as slide decks, real-world scenarios, case studies, exercises, and assessments
- Ensure course content covers current threats, safe digital practices, and organizational compliance considerations

**As Trainer**:

- Deliver clear and engaging lessons in-person or online to adult learners with little or no technical background
- Facilitate interactive discussions and practical group exercises
- Administer assessments and track learning outcomes based on course objectives

**Experience Requirements**:

- at least **5 years of experience** in cybersecurity, IT security operations, or risk management
- Practical experience in delivering **cybersecurity awareness training** or end-user education programs
- Strong understanding of common threats (e.g., phishing, ransomware, insider threats) and prevention strategies
- Experience designing training materials for **non-technical audiences**:

- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., **ISO 27001**, **NIST**, **CIS Controls**) and compliance requirements (e.g., **PDPA**, **GDPR**)
- Prior experience developing or delivering **curriculum for adult learners** is highly desirable

**Preferred Trainer Certifications**:

- **WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)** - Required for conducting SSG-funded courses
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as:

- **CompTIA Security+**:

- **Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)**:

- **Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)**:

- **GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)**:

- Train-the-Trainer certifications or adult education credentials (optional but advantageous)

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience conducting security audits, risk assessments, or awareness campaigns
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools for SMEs (e.g., endpoint protection, MFA, secure file sharing platforms)
- Experience delivering awareness training in sectors like education, healthcare, finance, or government
- Ability to develop phishing simulations or awareness assessments using platforms like KnowBe4 or Proofpoint
