**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**As Course Developer**:

- Design a comprehensive and progressive UX/UI curriculum aligned with SSG/WSQ standards
- Develop course materials, including lesson plans, slide decks, case studies, practical exercises, and assessments
- Integrate real-world design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Sketch into the curriculum
- Ensure content reflects current industry practices, accessibility guidelines, and emerging trends (e.g., design systems, responsive frameworks)

**As Trainer**:

- Deliver engaging and practical training sessions, in-person or virtually, to adult learners
- Guide learners through advanced user research techniques, usability testing, and hands-on design projects
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback on learners’ design portfolios
- Administer WSQ-aligned assessments and support learners’ achievement of learning outcomes

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree** in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or related discipline
- at least **5 years of professional experience** in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex and scalable design projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as **Figma**, **Adobe XD**, **Sketch**, and **InVision**:

- Experience working in an Agile, Lean UX, or user-centered design environment
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development or instructional design for adult learners

**Preferred Trainer Certifications**:

- **WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)** - required for training SSG-funded courses
- Certifications in UX/UI design such as:

- **NN/g UX Certification (Nielsen Norman Group)**:

- **Certified UX Designer (HFI)**:

- **Google UX Design Professional Certificate**:

- Train-the-Trainer or other adult learning credentials (optional but advantageous)

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience delivering WSQ-accredited courses
- Familiarity with usability testing tools (e.g., Maze, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar)
- Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Teaching portfolio or prior facilitation experience in UX bootcamps or corporate training
