**Job Description**:
**Team Summary**
The Regional Client team is newly set-up to lead a more coordinated client management approach, with one of Visa’s largest regional clients in Southeast Asia. This position will work closely with the Regional Account Lead in increasing strategic value to the client, growing client and Visa revenue, and strengthening executive relationships through identifying and implementing strategic growth opportunities. The position will work closely with both a core and cross-functional team of internal partners, locally and regionally, and will work closely with client executives to create value for both organizations.
**What a **_Director, Regional Client Account _**does at Visa**:
- Facilitate and administer the multi-year Regional Consumer Partnership with the client across 5 countries (including but not limited to working closely with in-country account leads in ensuring the fulfillment of annual obligations of both Visa and the client).
- Develop and generate Quarterly Business Review outputs for the client regionally across the markets and provide necessary support for monthly business reviews, management events and overseas conferences.
- Work with the Regional Lead to develop and execute annual account plans and scorecards, manage its execution across functions with the in-country and regional teams and execute on quarterly forecasting.
- Manage the client's vision and strategy on Visa payments products. Lead and coordinate efforts across the markets this client operates in, to drive results; develop strategic relationships with the senior management and all decision makers.
- Lead and work across functions to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive the client’s strategic priorities.
- Lead and work across a world-class, matrixed team to drive client’s business objectives and implement innovative solutions. This matrixed team will comprise of account executives from the markets that the client operates in, and where applicable, cross-functional teams, in order to pursue a range of business opportunities across the Southeast Asia region over the short and long term.
- Analyze and carefully monitor on an ongoing basis market trends, activities and competitor actions to enable the account team to develop and implement pre-emptive strategies and plans for the client.
- Ensure all in-market sales teams develop and maintain a deep understanding of global client’s in-country and regional strategies, at the same time being aware of Visa capabilities and industry trends.
**Why this is important to Visa**
The Director, Regional Client Account, will report to the Head of Sales, Singapore and Brunei and work closely with the sales leadership of designated Southeast Asia markets (namely, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam).
**Qualifications**:
What you will need:
- 10-12 years’ business experience with related business development, account management experience in the payments industry or similar experience in consultative or solution selling.
- Experience managing large accounts, portfolios or projects (marketing, sales, product development/management and/or operations), preferably within the Southeast Asia region.
- Strong knowledge of payment products, in the consumer areas and digital payments.
- Demonstrated aptitude in running basic financial analyses to evaluate business opportunities and suggest strategic options.
- Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing a complex, competitive sales efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external resources and grow cross functional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to implement strategic initiatives, policies and drive operational efficiencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with all levels including executive management.
- Ability to negotiate business agreements and to enhance existing and develop new business partnerships.
