Country Brand Lead (Rare Disease)
**Job Description**:
Position Summary
Accountable for the strategic marketing plans that maximize patient impact and delivers against financial objectives for the Rare Disease (RD) Category end-to-end. Collaboration with the different cross-functional stakeholders
_(Category Lead, Market Access, Medical, Regulatory)_ in supporting brand/account strategies and achieving top and bottom-line results.
Lead the launch planning and market development of new pipeline assets in the field of Rare Disease - Cardiology/ Hemophilia / Gene therapy, collaborating with in-market and above market teams in co-creating and implementing innovative go-to-market strategies, leveraging on omni-channel digital platforms.
Position Responsibilities
- Accountable for tailoring (glocalizing) global brand strategies, tactical programs and TA-specific customer experiences to meet local market needs
- Accountable for the planning and coordination of stakeholder engagements, across functions, in-country and above market, in meeting RD Category objectives
- Responsible for the revenue and DME financial forecasts
- Drive and plan launch strategy and innovative market access approaches for the RD in-line (ATTR-Cardiomyopathy, Hemophilia, Growth Hormone) and launch (Gene Therapy) product portfolio
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to and all ethical standards and business code of conduct are in compliance with local laws and internal SOPs
- Strong understanding of the healthcare economic environment and ability to effectively drive long-term sustainable patient access lobbying through key external stakeholders (i.e. medical societies/foundations/patient support groups)
- Identify, develop, and execute any strategic projects that would enhance our business performance and independently lead projects
- Lead development of Tactical plan, Market Research and Product Launch Readiness workshops and effectively collaborate with our Health Solution Partners (HSP) in market strategy implementation
- Define Go-To-Market strategic deployment, and align on resource allocation
- _ Financial Accountability_ - Responsible for brand revenue delivery; manage full A&P and relevant budgeting
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years proven pharmaceutical Core brand management track record. Strong understanding of key trends in local health care and pharmaceutical market; customer and stakeholder landscape, competitive dynamics, and business evolution
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Business Management, Master's Degree preferred
- Recent successful product launch experience
- Background in Rare Disease /Oncology/Hematology/Specialized therapeutics preferred
- Experience working in and above market and agility in working within a matrix structure
- Ability to effectively make informed business decisions in complex / ambiguous / unprecedented situations
- Strong project management, coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Track record of pushing boundaries and not accepting status quo, comfortable working with tight timelines
- Be an active contributor to create and operate in an environment that continuously embraces and encourages the implementation of innovative ideas and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork
