Associate Director

We are seeking an associate director to join our business in Singapore and to maximise our growth potential in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The individual will be part of the SI Consulting team in the Ogier Consulting unit, and will report to the Director - Global Head of SI Consulting. They will oversee a small number of other team members in the team and will work closely with Ogier teams across the business to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities. The role is a hybrid role where the individual will be required to manage and execute technical client engagements. This is a role with ambitious sales goals and expectations.

We work with clients to build solutions in sustainable finance and investing in public and private markets. Our clients include asset owners, asset managers, banks and corporates at all stages of their sustainable investment journey.Key Responsibilities
- Business development:
- Actively and independently source and convert business opportunities
- Grow the SI Consulting business, and support growth of the broader Ogier business in the region and globally
- Collaborate and identify business opportunities across Ogier business units including Legal, Corporate and Consulting and externally with the market
- Be a strong and articulate communicator, promote SI Consulting by speaking at events, leading marketing articles, presenting to the market, etc.
- Project Delivery:
- Proactively manage client projects and lead the technical implementation of engagements
- Resolve delivery challenges and serve as an escalation point that reports to the Head of SI
- Engage other Ogier staff outside of the immediate SI Consulting team where needed
- Directly manage and get 'hands-on' with projects as needed
- Maintain and ensure high quality delivery of deliverables
- Strategy, Innovation & Reporting:
- Support strategic planning in SI Consulting by contributing ideas to business planning, executing on ideas for business development and growth
- Proactively identify gaps in SI Consulting service model and solutions to innovate and grow the business by identifying new service offerings, modifications to current services and delivery tools
- Report regularly to Head of SI on business development goals, financials, and business metrics such as internal referrals

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- 10+ years of relevant experience delivering projects detailed above as a consultant
- Extensive business development and sales experience with proven track record of conversion
- Senior management or associate director level consulting experience, including project management in sustainability/ sustainable investment consulting/ESG consulting
- Demonstrated success meeting ambitious sales targets
- Own relevant professional network with sales potential
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Outstanding written and spoken communication and presentation skills
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Deeper expertise in a subset of ESG - such as ESG strategy, regulation, policy, portfolio implementation for financial market participants
- Relevant degree and Masters
