Associate Director / Senior Associate Director Position: Associate Director / Senior Associate Director at National University of Singapore (NUS IT). Overview NUS Information Technology is the cornerstone to providing reliable, high-performance and secure IT solutions and effective IT governance for the campus. NUS IT aims to transform NUS into a borderless computing community, enhancing applications and services for teaching and learning. The candidate will lead a team for projects delivery and application support related to the Finance business domain, working closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead the IT team in supporting and managing IT solutions for the Office of Finance (OFN) including SAP S/4HANA Finance modules (FI, CO, TM, MM). Oversee and manage team resources (including vendor and augmented staff) to meet work demands and allocate the right resources to the right tasks. Understand the business domain, review user requirements and vendor proposals, assess technical solutions, and ensure selected solutions meet architecture, scalability, security, and compliance requirements; provide technical support during implementation to ensure timely rollout. Serve as Solution Architect for OFN systems, ensuring solutions are secure, interoperable, and extensible. Note: The role may involve delivering IT projects in other business domains as needed. Qualifications Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. At least 15 years in IT, including 7 years in a technical role and 7+ years in project management. At least 10 years in managing an IT team providing support and/or vendor management. In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules FI/CO/PS/FM/GM/Cash Management/Treasury/MM/SD; OpenText Vendor Invoice Management knowledge is a plus. At least 3 years in planning, managing, and executing S/4HANA system upgrades. Good technical knowledge in SAP ABAP and Fiori is advantageous. Familiarity with Finance business domains. Strong technical ability to coordinate with technical teams on complex requirements and integration issues; solid grasp of IT technologies, architectures, and best practices. Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex requirements clearly. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with all levels of management, users, and vendors. Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision; strong teamwork, proactive attitude, fast learner, and highly organized. Certification in PMP or CITPM is an added advantage; experience in Higher Education is a bonus.
