
Vertical Marketing Lead, Apac Business Marketing

In this role you will draw upon industry insights to develop messaging and storytelling that helps advertisers and partners gain a stronger understanding of how TikTok can help grow their business.
Client Solutioning
- Lead a team of vertical experts in marketing TikTok solutions to eCommerce, Gaming, CPG and Media & Entertainment industries, working with other functional & sales leaders to share best practices and build the knowledge of the vertical within TikTok. Agility to transfer marketing skills across other verticals when required.
- Ability to manage highly strategic and challenging business problems and collaborate with several teams (e.g., Global Teams, Sales, Strategy, Product)
- Set the vision for vertical marketing across APAC, building robust marketing plans that align with and deliver against core business goals
- Deliver audience development and content strategy workshops to partners to grow their business on TikTok
- Turn industry research and insights into powerful storytelling and marketing content that spans narratives, campaigns, case studies and sales toolkits
Integrated Marketing
- Activate integrated marketing campaigns for key verticals - including events, training, case studies, collaterals - across digital & non-digital channels.
- Program Manage the activations along with the team to ensure desired industry impact & positioning
- Originate thought leadership that showcases how TikTok can solve key advertiser challenges and help transform business for the digital age
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with key industry partners to take storytelling and thought-leadership to market & experience in delivering presentations to senior leadership on digital solutions and/or working in direct sales
- Partner and collaborate closely with country and regional business marketing teams, sales, product and marketing science teams to bring vertical marketing strategies to life
- Deep knowledge of advertising solutions and the digital media landscape
- 10+ years of experience in advertising sales, product or brand marketing
- Agility to transfer skills across different industry verticals
- Comfort with both branding and performance solutions
- Knowledge of the eCommerce, Gaming, CPG or Media & Entertainment industries preferred
- Experience working across APAC markets preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven experience in turning data and industry insights into client narratives & marketing content/ programs
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills with proven ability to influence
