Overview GM, Marketing APAC role at myGwork - LGBTQ+ Business Community. The Trade Desk is the employer for this role, with focus on leading APAC marketing across Australia, New Zealand Asia Pacific region, including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. What You’ll Do Reporting to the VP of Global Marketing, oversee all marketing GTM efforts across APAC (Australia; N Asia: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea; SE Asia: Singapore, Indonesia and India) with responsibilities including brand and performance marketing. Act as a true business partner to the APAC leadership team, shaping growth vision, innovating brand-building initiatives, and accelerating growth. Set growth vision and partner with senior commercial leaders to engage in strategy debates, refine plans, and prove results. Unite the APAC marketing function by coordinating country brand leaders in Australia, Singapore, India, Japan, and Hong Kong. Lead regional initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams (digital, performance marketing, events, research & insights, editorial, PR/Comms, and creative). Establish KPIs for the region and for individual countries; track, report, and optimize plans with local marketing leaders. Represent The Trade Desk on industry stages and at internal/external events. Develop a strong point of view on messaging and simplify storytelling to engage new and existing clients. Define the global/local balance, partner with other marketing leaders worldwide, build consensus, and inspire the team to succeed. Who You Are BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 15+ years of marketing experience at a brand advertiser, agency, media company, product marketing, or performance marketing/demand generation. Understanding of the programmatic advertising industry and AdTech ecosystem. Clear experience working with and presenting to sales teams. Compelling storyteller with a focus on performance and the ability to simplify complexity. High EQ with the ability to build relationships across large teams in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to concept, develop, and execute integrated campaigns across paid media, events, editorial, social, and thought leadership. Solid understanding of integrated marketing including demand generation, pipeline generation, analytics, events, and editorial. Detail-oriented, proactive, self-organizing, and skilled in time management to handle multiple projects. Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable in gray spaces and able to break down complex problems into actionable work plans with a test-and-learn agenda. Experience developing and managing a large team of 20+ people. Proficiency across marketing tools/systems (Slack, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, Bizible, Excel, Tableau) is a plus. Mix of B2B/B2C background is a plus.
