Country Portfolio Associate (1-year Secondment / Contract)
Position Summary:
This role reports to Hospital Category Lead.
Accountable for Sterile-Injectables portfolio strategic plan including owning brand/launch strategies and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to tailor strategies and tactics of each market segment, drive product growth, forecast revenues and operating expenses, and achieve revenue and profitability target.
Requires strong business acumen with deep understanding of accounts and healthcare trends. Analyzes data and creates strategic account plan that focuses on delivering short and long-term value for the portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
- Own brand strategy for sterile-injectables portfolio in Singapore. Accountable for the strategic plan that maximizes patient impact and delivers against financial objectives for Hospital category (SI range) end-to-end.
- Accountable for tailoring (glocalizing) global brand strategies, tactical programs and TA-specific customer experiences to meet local market needs.
- Accountable for the planning and coordination of the stakeholder engagement, across functions, to meet objectives.
- Forecast portfolio performance and track progress towards target
- Drive innovation in a highly dynamic and competitive market by challenging the status quo
- Allocate and execute portfolio budget
- Identify synergies across the business to maximize resources and efficiencies
- Lead field force training on product positioning and strategies
- Provide corss-functional brand leadership - across field force, account management finance, medical, legal, regulatory, etc
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to and all ethical standards and business code of conduct are in compliance with local laws and internal SOPs
- Build and maintain relationship with key external stakeholders such as KOLs
- Provide local insights and portfolio related feedback to local and global teams where relevant
- Work with tender lead on price optimization for the portfolio
- Develop Key Account Plans with internal/external stakeholders to drive top-line growth expectations.
- Identify key institutional customers/stakeholders and build stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy.
- Identify ,develop and execute any key projects that enhance our business performance and independently lead projects
- Portfolio and supply management with collaboration with cross-functional colleagues
Desired Experience:
Education - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Business Management, Master's Degree preferred
- 2-3 years marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry preferably in relavant therapeutic area - Must possess Restructured/Private Hospital sales experience
- Results oriented with high commitment to quality, performance and ability to translate a given strategy into detailed implementation
- Financial and commercial background
- Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
