Bachelor Degree required
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in online or offline product or program management, hands-on management consulting, or related field
- Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results
- Experience in a technology environment will be advantageous, as well as background in product and/or program management
- Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Job summary
Are you passionate about working with international teams to guide them with your business knowledge and data insights to grow the ecommerce business of international Selling Partners on Amazon.sg? We are looking for a highly skilled, business savvy, analytical, data-driven, strategic and innovative leader to drive and scale Singapore's third-party-marketplace for international Selling Partners. As a Senior Country Development Manager, you will be driving programs with different locations around the world, to help increase the selection offered by international Selling Partners in Singapore, as well as helping define the strategy and launch critical Tech features to unlock the growth of the business. You will be given opportunities to work with senior stakeholders across the globe, while being a key member of the Amazon local business.
Key job responsibilities
- Generate country-specific insights and recommend actions to seller recruitment/program teams around the world.
- Work with international seller recruitment teams to track merchant performance, troubleshoot issues and implement scalable solutions/processes.
- Work with SG business teams to: 1) identify initiatives to be driven by the international seller recruitment teams; and 2) create new business opportunities for sellers to grow their businesses in Singapore.
- Identify key challenges for international sellers expanding into Singapore and work with relevant business and technical product teams to prioritize and deliver improvements to seller experience.
- Author deep dives into high visibility topics and present the findings to business leadership.
- Bridge communication and best practices across international teams around the world.
- MBA
- SQL and BI skills highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment - High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable due to work requirements
