**Why we need you**:
As the Financial Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for building, evaluating and managing Airwallex’s key financial partnerships with the goal to deepen Airwallex’s product capabilities in the region, as well as enable Airwallex to launch in new markets. You will support the Financial Partnerships team in scoping, establishing, negotiating, implementing, and operationalising complex partnership engagements. This role will be the bridge between financial partners and internal stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and outcomes for the company.
A partnerships expert with experience in the payments industry, preferably having managed partnerships with Financial Institutions including banks, schemes, payment methods, as well as other fintechs in the ecosystem.
You have experience working in both big organizations as well as fast-growing startups, and hence have the knowledge and experience in putting in place processes and structure, while remaining flexible and creative in ensuring they are effective and relevant for the business. You are resourceful, action-oriented, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
We’re after someone who can thrive under pressure and enjoys managing multiple stakeholders to drive towards a desired outcome.
**Skills and experience**:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in fintech / technology or top-tier management strategy/management consulting
- Experience in commercial negotiation and partnership sourcing and management
- Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and thrives under pressure
