As the Financial Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for building, evaluating and managing Airwallex's key financial partnerships with the goal to deepen Airwallex's product capability in the region as well as enable Airwallex to launch in new countries. You will support the Financial Partnerships team in scoping, defining, establishing, negotiating, implementing, and operationalising complex partnership engagements.
The key to success in this role will be by being the bridge between financial partners and internal teams (product, compliance, legal etc.) to drive strategic initiatives and projects. Manage partnerships to review success factors and hold periodic meetings to discuss sales & marketing strategies, lead-gen, and new products / features.
You should be compelled to work in a fast-growth, fintech start-up style environment, understanding the unique responsibility, creativity and flexibility involved. This role requires the ability to be resourceful, action-oriented with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. We're after someone who can thrive under pressure and enjoys managing multiple stakeholders to drive towards a desired outcome.
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role in fintech / technology or top-tier management strategy/management consulting
- Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development
- Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
