**Job Summary**:
The Regional VP of Commercial and Customer Care will manage and optimize the commercial organization and customer support for the Company. The commercial organization will consist of account and sales executives that service the marine, offshore oil & gas, and industrial end markets. The customer care team will be responsible for generating quotations and support the sales team. This position will focus on delivering sales and sales growth within defined markets and agreed budgets, ensure that the company’s business objectives are met while maintaining the required corporate framework, and to lead and co-ordinate all business development activities to best position the company for growth
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop, document, and execute a strategic/comprehensive regional sales and distribution plan to drive optimal customer service and profitability across our various business segments
- Drive the development and implementation of commercial best practices using the Sandler method, identify commercial opportunities and present an integrated solution to address customer needs
- Identify and develop the pipeline of opportunities for growth in identified new markets
- Develop and lead cross-functional programs to optimize company resources within the geographic region
- Improve customer service development and drive consistency within the region
**Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills**:
- 10+ years commercial management experience
- Record of managing cost performance practices across a variety of product lines
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communicator with ability to develop relationships across functions
- Experience in commercial and supply chain technology/process such as JD Edwards, Hub Spot, etc.
**Education/Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and industry knowledge a plus
**Physical Working Environment**:
The position works in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time. Position requires travel approximately 40%.
