
Technical Pre-sales IT Specialist

**Job Summary**:
The Technical Pre-Sales IT Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions to prospective clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing tailored IT solutions, delivering compelling presentations, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and provide technical guidance.
- Design, propose, and present customized IT solutions that meet client requirements.
- Create technical documentation, solution architecture, and proposals.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs.
- Support clients during pre-sales meetings, site visits, and product evaluations.
- Assist in pricing and sizing of solutions, including hardware, software, and services.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors’ products and market trends.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years in IT technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, or enterprise software (based on company focus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with proposal writing, solution design, and customer engagement.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA).
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with pricing tools and cost estimation models.
