**Job Description**:
Working for the head of Institutional Sales based in EMEA, the successful applicant will help and assist with driving and executing a sales plan into the Institutional sectors in the APAC region. You can either be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
The new Business Development Director will be tasked with identifying and winning Institutional sector mandates across all products and services offered by SS&C.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients in the institutional sectors with a focus on profitable new revenue generation.
- Identify and win new business mainly in APAC (or other assigned region(s) as required), targeting, predominately, asset managers and insurance companies.
- Build a network and pipeline in the Institutional space to position the firm’s Middle Office and associated service offering
- Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters
- Help build the firm’s brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads
- Attendance and participation at industry events
- Develop and manage the intermediary and third-party services provider network
