The Corporate Plans and Services (CPS) Division undertakes a range of responsibilities in innovation, Strategic Planning, and Partnerships, and collaborates with R&D divisions in the areas of Finance, Estate Management, and Procurement to meet DSO’s strategic and business needs.

Manager/Assistant Manager, Security Governance

In this role, you will:

- Assisting Senior Manager in leading team in running and enforcing security governance
- Propose changes to security policies, procedures and work processes with reference to established directives and policy decisions for approval
- Participate in implementation of new security policies/procedures, including communications and organisation of awareness programme
- Review security policies, procedures and workflow and recommends changes for improved services, efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Perform data analysis and prepare management reports on security findings and trends, propose implementation plans, and follow through with regular updates to management on findings from analysis
- To lead and champion in adherence to the prescribed security policies and procedures
- To be the expert in areas of physical, personnel, project security to provide consultancies to R&D staff
- To plan and lead in security audits and preparation of audit findings for management reporting, and to propose action plans to work with grounds to achieve good audit outcomes
- To plan, lead and initiate investigations on security incident/breaches and recommend remedial/preventive actions
- Provide support to management in emergency response or crisis management and to recommend changes to improve services, efficiencies and cost effectiveness
- Undertake as recording secretary for management level meetings, to follow through management decisions and to provide periodic updates

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Management and Security Studies/ Security Management
- Good interpersonal skill
- Good communications skill
- Good analytical ability, sharp eyes for details, quick to pick up anomalies and trend
- Good understanding of rationale of security policies, and recommend changes for improved services, efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Good team player
