The Corporate Plans and Services (CPS) Division undertakes a range of responsibilities in innovation, Strategic Planning, and Partnerships, and collaborates with R&D divisions in the areas of Finance, Estate Management, and Procurement to meet DSO’s strategic and business needs.

Senior Manager (Security)
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of security staff for daily operations and ensure effective implementation of security protocols
- Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including physical security measures, the high availability state of security devices (access control system and surveillance systems), and readiness of our ground security officers
- Develop an effective Knowledge Management System so that security policies and standard operating procedures (SOP) are in place, reviewed periodically to update compliance requirements and staffed to management for policy decisions approval
- Act as a Business Partner to the Divisions by engaging divisions management to provide updates on security insights/trends pertaining to their division through the use of data analytics; tools for pre-emptive management intervention; assist Project Leads to secure project/facility/personnel clearances and address security concerns
- Review existing security processes through the use of digitalisation tools so as to bring about better efficiency and experience for staff in the organisation
- Develop and deliver security awareness programme to educate staff on security risks, policies and best practices to foster a strong security culture in the organisation
- Oversees the investigation of critical equipment failures or security incidents including reporting to management and rectification of lapses
- Oversee, plan and execute emergency response, crisis management/ops readiness plan relating to ensure the Security Posture of the organisation
- Plan and lead in security audits and preparation of audit findings for management reporting, and to propose action plans
- Assume the responsibility of a Contract Manager for outsourced services such as armed guards and security officer contracts with vendors
- Work with consultants to conduct risk assessment and support the development of risk mitigation strategies
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging security technologies and relevant regulations so as to continuously improve the security interest of the organisation
- Management of budget relating to security operations
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Data Analytics/ Digital Service Automation/ Digital Systems Security/ Security Management/ Security Technology/ Security by Design
- Strong leadership qualities to motivate, guide and develop a team of security staff in the department
- Strategic thinking abilities to anticipate security risks, develop pro-active security measures and align security initiatives to meet organisation goals
- Strong communication and staffing skills to engage management, staff and team members to articulate security concepts and communicate security strategies
- Stay up to date with latest security trends, regulations and best practices as well as deep understanding of industry standards and compliance requirement
- Possess collaborative approach to foster cooperation with other departments and build strong working relationship to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements and experience in conducting security audits, ensuring adherence to security standards and implementing corrective actions
- Experience in managing security vendors and service providers, including contract management, performance evaluation and ensuring compliance to contract obligations
- Stay updated with emerging security technologies, trends and best practices. Ability to drive innovations, adapt to evolving security threats and implement new security technologies and approaches
