The Channel Solution Engineer role at Zoom is an exciting and rewarding position. Zoom is looking for a technical sales professional with knowledge of customer business drivers to adopt the Zoom Communication platform. The Channel Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor and plays an integral part in delivering Happiness to our partners and customers.
This individual serves as the lead advocate for partners; translating technical needs into solution integration recommendations, enablement and driving pre-sales capabilities such as demo and proof of concepts with our partners. The Channel Solution Engineer must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural advantages to our partners and support the Channel Account Executive when it comes to proposing and designing solutions for our partners and customers.
**As a Channel Solution Engineer you will be**:
- Designing next-generation communication solutions with Zoom partners
- Enabling partners to conduct demo and proof of concepts for prospective Zoom customers
- Solution and architectural design and selling
- Mentoring and support partners for API/SDK demo and proof of concepts
- Building/maintaining relationship with Resellers & Distributors
- RFQ/RFP response/preparation
- Building competitive intelligence
- Working Across Multiple Boundaries
- Driving the Zoom Vision
Zoom promotes the use of our amazing toolset to maximize all resources within. However there will also be travel required in some instances.
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years of technical experience in Collaboration technologies
- 5+ years in an external-facing technical role required
- BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
- ** Speaks business level Mandarin or Cantonese and English to communicate with local clients**
- Thorough competitive knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology and product offerings.
- Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes
- Intermediate level solution sales ability
- Strong business acumen and executive presence
- SaaS Collaboration sales experience i.e. web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS
- Excellent communication skills
- Create, present and document technical solutions
