Singapore National Youth Council Full time

**What the role is**
- As an intern in the Youth Engagement team, you will be involved in planning and executing a broad range of online and offline youth engagements that allow young people to participate meaningfully in civic discourse.
You will work with an agile team, together with industry partners and other Government agencies, to create multi-modal experiences for youths to be heard, hear from others, and be empowered with resources and connections to take action.

3 key workstreams you may indicate preference for:
1. Community Management and Engagements
The intern will manage Holler — a community of youth who are interested in current affairs to share their sentiments on trending issues. Key duties include the organisation of regular community engagements (e.g. NYC Kopi Sessions), and ensuring the continued growth of the Holler community.
2. Citizen Engagement
The intern will work alongside Government agencies and/or sector partners to design youth-centric engagements in both offline and online modalities, to engage youths on topics of interest.
The intern will be part of the full engagement operationalisation process, including (but not limited to) (a) procurement of Event Management Services and Digital Content; (b) facilitation of engagement discussions; (c) note-taking of engagement discussion points and preparation of summary notes; (d) engagement recruitment and publicity; (e) coordination of engagement programme and facilitation plan etc.
3. Digital engagements and Youthopia
Youthopia.sg serves as a first-stop portal for the latest news, topics and social causes that matter to youths.
The intern will work with digital content partners to plan and execute innovative digital engagements on social media, including (but not limited to) commissioned articles/videos etc. The intern will also engage in copyediting and journalistic writing for Youthopia website content, conduct data analysis/performance evaluation for social media, digital engagements and other NYC/Youthopia assets.
