**Major Functions:
The post holder is responsible for managing team members of the education & outreach arm of the Conservation Department within WWF-Singapore. The education & outreach team aims to bring conservation and sustainability education and awareness to various stakeholders in Singapore. The post holder will lead and manage our flagship We Got This programme in it’s expansion into the region. This role will also involve creation and curation of sustainability and communications related content, management of day-to-day administration of activities, have oversight of interns and staff. You will be involved in work across the organisation - including but not limited to Operations, Fundraising and Communications, Policy and Advocacy in developing and delivering high quality education and outreach programmes to educational institutions and youth.
**Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage WWF-Singapore ‘We Got This’ youth programme.
- Oversee, develop and deliver with the team, high quality masterclasses, workshops, webinars and networking events for youth on sustainability issues.
- Assist to source and create a supportive network of inspiring speakers, mentors and consultants for ‘We Got This’.
- Liaise and coordinate with youth, schools, tertiary institutions, universities, vendors and programme partners in the organisation of events.
- Manage and track partnership and donor commitments.
- Work with regional partners to execute the programme in partner countries
- Manage financial commitments and accounting
- Monitor engagement requests from internal teams and external partners; prioritise and manage a calendar of engagement activities and coordinate their execution.
- Recruit and supervise vendors and consultants to ensure high quality.
- Liaise with the media in partnership with the communications team when required.
- Produce mid-term and final reports to be presented to management and donors.
- Budget and manage risks to ensure smooth day to day execution of all programmes, projects and events. This includes maintaining a professional network of connections.
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders such as education practitioners, partner organisations, advocates, mentors etc.
**Profile**:
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- At least 5 years' professional experience, with at least 3 or more years of working experience in a project manager role.
- Familiarity with key Social Media platforms (Circle, FB, IG, TikTok, Linkedln) and best practices
- Proficient with design platforms such as Canva and Adobe Illustrator/ Adobe Photoshop
- Keen interest in sustainability and environmental issues
- Experience managing events, campaigns and communications & marketing
- Experience in managing staff, volunteers and interns.
- Knowledge and experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Proven success in the development and execution of strategies and project plans.
- Knowledge and experience of the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
**Required skills and competencies:
- Be a self-starter with a high level of drive.
- Interest in working with and empowering youth in Singapore and the region between 18-30 years
- Good organization and interpersonal skills with ability to function in a multicultural environment
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Public speaking and event hosting skills
- Have a strong eye for organisation, planning and detail
- Flexible, resourceful and able to perform despite tight schedules
- Has a strong stakeholder focus and service-oriented attitude
- Able to travel within the region
- Able to manage the job independently and proactively
