Singapore HPB Health Promotion Board Full time

The mission of the School Health Outreach of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is to nurture healthy lifestyle habits among youth by developing the youth participation strategy and harnessing dynamism of youth to further HPB’s health promotion efforts in Singapore, among their peers.

You will be a part of the Youth Engagement & Insights department that would be accountable for insights gathering for meaningful youth engagement in health promotion and education, through HPB’s Youth Resource Panel (YRP), ad hoc surveys and other engagement platforms in collaboration with National Youth Council & Youth Corps Singapore (YCS), IHLs & TikTok.

**What You Can expect**

As a member of the Youth Engagement & Insights department, you will:
**Partnership Development and Management**
- Analyse strategic impact or outcomes of external partnerships to determine effectiveness of partnerships; suggest dropping partnership where it yields no way forward or to identify areas to improve.
- Negotiate the strategic exchange of information such as data and insights with key partners e.g. NYC, Youth Networks.
- Refine engagement strategy for the Youth Resource Panel including developing a tiered support system given the average length of stay of youth in YRP.

**Youth Advocate Development**
- Conduct environmental scan on the existing client landscape, community needs and programmes available
- Define data collection processes and outcome measures of programmes
- Assess complexity of youth advocate needs and the scope of services or programmes to be provided
- Partnership with other youth organisations in the social sector (non-profits, with IPC status or social enterprises) to push the message of healthy living among members or beneficiaries / clients.
- Negotiation/influencing and conflict management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications (written and verbal) skills
- Project management skills
- Data analytics skills
- Ability to multi-task, adaptable to fast-changing environment with a strong desire to excel
- High energy, confident, self-motivated, positive disposition, and attitude
