Senior Pre-sales/sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer, you will be the technical expert and trusted advisor to our clients, providing them with valuable insights, solutions, and support throughout the sales process. Your in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, excellent communication skills, and ability to understand and address client needs will be key to driving successful sales engagements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. **Technical Expertise**:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, providing expertise on our cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Understand clients' technical requirements, challenges, and objectives to recommend appropriate solutions that align with their needs.
**2. **Pre-Sales Support**:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and proofs of concept (POCs) to showcase the value of our cybersecurity solutions.
- Address technical inquiries and concerns during the sales process to build confidence and trust with clients.
- Solution Design and Technical Proposal:
- Design tailored cybersecurity solutions, considering clients' existing infrastructure and security posture.
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals that articulate the technical aspects of the solution, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to incorporate the technical proposal into the overall sales strategy.
**3. **RFP/RFI Responses**:
- Lead the technical response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) from potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate responses.
**4. **Industry Expertise**:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity and related industries.
- Leverage industry knowledge to position our company as a thought leader and trusted partner.
**5. **Technical Training**:
- Conduct training sessions for internal sales teams to enhance their technical understanding of our cybersecurity solutions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the pre-sales/sales engineering team.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of [Insert number of years] years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role in the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, such as network security, endpoint protection, Security information and event management (SIEM), User entity and behaviour analytics (UEBA), Security, Orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), data loss prevention (DLP), workflow and threat intelligence.
- Proven track record in delivering successful pre-sales support and contributing to sales revenue growth.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to understand and address client needs effectively.
- Ability to create compelling technical proposals for customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are desirable.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
